Child Tax Credit 2022 update — Memorial Weekend decision sees state approve $1,000 bonus for thousands – do you qualify?

OVER 30,000 children are estimated to benefit from Vermont's new child tax credit.

Qualifying families will receive $1,000 for every child 5 years and younger in the household.

Governor Phil Scott signed the package into law on Friday. Families making $125,000 or less annually are eligible.

The tax credit will cost about $32million.

It is modeled on a federal credit that was temporarily expanded during the pandemic that sent families over $3,000 for every child 6 and under.

Child care professionals can apply for $1,000 bonuses

Delaware is thanking child care professionals for working during the pandemic by rewarding them with $1,000.
