Prime Video's adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang's comic book series Paper Girls is officially set to premiere this July.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Paper Girls will premiere on Prime Video on Friday, July 29.

EW has also released a collection of exclusive stills from the time-travel-centric streaming series, featuring the four lead characters of Mac Coyle (Sofia Rosinsky), Tiffany Quilkin (Camryn Jones), Erin Tieng (Riley Lai Nelet) and K.J. Brandman (Fina Strazza). We also see the older version of Erin, played by Ali Wong.

Paper Girls was written by Vaughan (Y: The Last Man, Runaways), illustrated by Chiang (Human Target), coloured by Matt Wilson, lettered by Jared K. Fletcher, and flatted by Dee Cunniffe.

Four 12-year-old newspaper delivery girls from Stony Stream, Ohio, find themselves in the middle of a time travel war.

In July 2019, just before the comic ended, Amazon Studios announced it was developing live-action adaptation of Paper Girls for Prime Video, which was officially ordered to series the following year.

"Growing up in the suburbs of Cleveland, there was one year when I was around 12, where all of the paper boys in our neighborhood were suddenly replaced by paper girls,

Vaughan told EW. "I just thought it was so badass that these 12-year-old children were going out at 4 a.m. to deliver bad news to adults.
