The US citizens will receive the surprise stimulus payments of $600 and $1100 on December 17. The Eligible citizens are in for the welcome benefits with Christmas around the corner. The first stimulus payments started on November 29, with December 17 being the last date.

The US Sun reports that more than Eight Hundred thousand residents of California received stimulus payments of $1,100 on December 17. The series of payments got underway at the start of this week. The beneficiaries of surprise stimulus benefits will also receive tax refunds while filing their taxes. The surprise stimulus payments are a part of the Golden state stimulus scheme.

Medical Students Received Checks Before Christmas

The families who qualify for the payments will receive checks worth $ 600 and $ 1100. The monetary benefits provide the California residents with a financial cushion ahead of Christmas. The residents of Atlanta had received stimulus checks worth $ 6300 by December 15. The Atlanta medical school has issued statements to its students to help with everyday expenses. The financial benefits will be a massive boost for the students going into the holiday season. Morehouse School of Medicine will also provide $ 6300 to cope with education expenses.

New Orleans Residents Will Get Direct Deposits

The New Orleans program joins hands with MasterCard and mobility capital Finance for the Welfare of socially and economically backward classes in Louisiana. The beneficiaries of the Louisiana stimulus will receive direct deposits through a debit card. The beneficiaries need to fulfill the age criteria and be unemployed to qualify for the stimulus benefits. The US Sun quoted the New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, who said, “My administration continues to identify innovative ways to serve and empower our residents and will make sure that the unbanked are banked have access to financial education and other resources so that they can attend to basic needs and continue to invest in themselves.”

The residents of New Orleans will also benefit from the financial literacy program. The individuals belonging to the Gen Z group will receive $ 350 monthly benefits. More than 125 residents aged 16 to 24 will receive the benefits in December, they will receive several benefits in the coming year.

    What about Austin, Minnesota and residents. We should also qualify for another stimulus payment. Especially the Senior Citizens. With this inflation we don’t even have enough to buy groceries, pay utilities etc.,

      Same here in lower Michigan. We can’t afford to heat our house. Two weeks of pay checks to fill the tank. We’re struggling big time.

      Its same here our cola was eaten up with the raise in medacare plus the inflation the way it seems to plus our secondary insurance has gone up too hang on to your hat Jesus is on his way to set things straight

    I believe everyone deserves a stimulus check not just certain states and people with kids everyone is struggling,we barely can pay bills and buy food and Christmas is next week that’s gonna be hard on people
