The initial stage of this program was in September this year.
The parents in Columbia are eligible to receive prepaid debit cards worth $500 monthly. There are prime eligibility criteria that the beneficiaries should not be less than 18 years. The threshold amount for families in Chicago is $35,000 per year. The government randomly selects the families to issue the benefits.
The residents of New Orleans will get $350 per month for ten months. In addition to these states, the families belonging to the low-income category will also receive $300 in a prepaid debit card.
