Man shot and killed during argument in SE Houston rental home, police say



Everyone at the party fled when police arrived at the homicide scene, which investigators say could be rented.

A man was shot and killed during an argument that took place at a gathering inside of a short-term rental home located in the southeast of Houston. The incident reportedly took place in the 7900 block of Bowen Street close to Glenrose Street at approximately 3:35 in the morning on Sunday, according to the police.

According to reports, first responders spoke with someone who stated they heard gunshots coming from inside the residence.

Officers from the Houston Police Department found a man inside the house who had been shot in the head. The door to the house was open when they went inside.

On the spot, a medical examiner determined that the man had passed away.

According to the statements made by investigators, there was a gathering taking place on the property when an argument became heated and gunshots were fired.

According to the first reports, there was a gathering at the residence when an argument erupted, leading to the firing of shots.

When the officers arrived, several people were seen leaving the area, but at the time of our most recent check, the officers were still working to determine whether or not the home was a rental property.

Houston – According to the Houston Fire Department, a man was rushed to the hospital following a house fire on the northeast side.

A little after 5:15 a.m., significant smoke was coming from a residence in the 8800 block of Shady Dr. when firefighters arrived on the scene.

When it was discovered that individuals might be trapped, crews launched an offensive attempt to put out the flames.


One man was found and extricated from the residence by firefighters. Unknown to anyone, he was transported to the hospital.

There were no more injuries recorded.

Authorities are looking into what started the fire.

The woman’s 8-year-old daughter was in the back seat when the shooting allegedly took place at 2 p.m., according to police.


Around 2:08 p.m., according to HPD Assistant Chief Ban Tien, police responded to many complaints regarding a gunshot at Texas Children’s Hospital, which is located at 18200 Katy Freeway. When they got there, they discovered a male in the passenger seat dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and a woman in her 30s who had been shot to death.

According to Houston police, they proceeded to the hospital to get the child some medical care, but when they got there, the man shot the woman inside the car before turning the gun on himself.

A male was sitting in the passenger seat, and a child was in the rear seat, according to an HPD update.

When the incident occurred, the woman’s 8-year-old kid was in the car.

Although their relationship is yet unknown, the man was not the girl’s father, according to the police.

The identity of the suspect and victim remain secret.
